May Meeting Highlights
Jenny Peterson from Generations led us in a small focus group session looking for community input from cross section on what is “working” – what is not. AND what are the areas of great concern. Very good discussion as well as input into this community process. I will have copies of the slides that she presented at the next meeting.
Northland Foundation – Rural Aging Initiative Grant Monies Re- Directed.
You should have all received your 2014 Transition Coach Booklet. The assessment tools and checklists looked very valuable when I saw this at the Westberg Symposium in April. I hope and trust it will serve you well in your practice.
Please NOTE that we also have funds for RN’s who wish to take the Parish Nurse Preparation course (in classroom or online settings); OR if YOU would like to attend a Conference/Training that you do not have funds for – – PLEASE let me know. I believe there will be some Advance Care Planning Trainings coming up in the late summer/early fall. If you have an interest in this, the funds could certainly go towards this as well.
